Our environmental protection actions

Environmental protection shows in our own actions. The continuous improvement of our environmental balance is firmly anchored in our ambitious environmental goals and commit us to maintaining and further developing our environmental management system in accordance with DIN ISO EN 14001: 2015.

We cover energy requirements with a 250kWp solar system and the
Use of district heating generated by waste heat from the nearby mineral oil refinery.
We're working on our life cycle assessment for our products.
When choosing our logistics partners, we pay attention to the CO2-neutral service provision.

Occupational safety is not only reflected in compliance with the minimum standards, but also in

preventive measures through the most modern storage technology,
ergonomic workplaces and
employee support during regular medical checkups.

It goes without saying that we oblige all of our suppliers to adhere to the RoHS and Reach guidelines.

Health protection and Labor safety

Our commitment is a guideline for the entire company, all locations and business units of the ABEG Group, especially Findling Wälzlager GmbH, and therefore applies equally to each of us. On the one hand, it represents the demand we place on ourselves to live up to the values and principles listed therein and at the same time signals responsible behavior towards all interested parties.

Once again Knorr Bremse AG’s “preferred supplier” in 2022

As the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems for railway and utility vehicles, Knorr-Bremse has once again named Findling Wälzlager GmbH its “preferred supplier”. In 2022 Findling was able to achieve the ambitious performance targets even under bad global supply chain conditions. Knorr-Bremse uses Findling’s roller bearings in a series of applications involving rail transport systems and the scope of delivery is steadily increasing.

New profile and roughness measurement

Recently, a profile and roughness measuring device was added to the Findling Wälzlager quality laboratory. The flexible machine enables different tests to be carried out on roller bearings. This, in turn, helps to ensure seamless quality control from production to outgoing goods.
