As the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems for railway and utility vehicles, Knorr-Bremse has once again named Findling Wälzlager GmbH its “preferred supplier”. 2020 saw the achievement of the objective of global supply, including the supply of the Chinese plants. Knorr-Bremse uses Findling’s roller bearings in a series of applications involving rail transport systems and the scope of delivery is steadily increasing.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a massive impact on supply chains and the price trend is becoming less and less certain. Our management team discussed how Findling is dealing with the opportunities and risks involved and how it is maintaining its delivery capacities.

New profile and roughness measurement

Recently, a profile and roughness measuring device was added to the Findling Wälzlager quality laboratory. The flexible machine enables different tests to be carried out on roller bearings. This, in turn, helps to ensure seamless quality control from production to outgoing goods.

A look back at 2019

China was the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic. Its industry has managed to stabilize itself considerably by now.

Whether it’s for drive technology, the packaging industry or sensors: Findling Wälzlager would like to make it easier for its customers to choose a technically and economically optimum product from our comprehensive product range.

Radial bearing/thrust bearing

Combined radial/thrust bearings hold a special position among rolling bearings: They are capable of simultaneously handling very large radial and axial forces and are characterized by their particularly compact design. Findling Wälzlager offers combined bearings in a wide variety of designs and rolling member pairings.

Conveying technology

Must meet very particular requirements: Depending on the area of application, it is necessary for them to withstand high loads, have good sealing efficiency or deliver a convincing performance with smooth running characteristics. In Findling’s comprehensive portfolio, every customer will find the rolling bearing that fits their needs at an optimum price/performance ratio.

Ball bearings for machine tools

Findling Wälzlager GmbH supports manufacturers of machine tools with sound consulting and with economically and technologically optimum products. Due to the high speeds involved, spindle bearings, angular contact ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings are used here. Findling’s premium roller bearing range includes products from the Japanese manufacturer NACHI and the German manufacturer SLF.

Deep groove ball bearings

With its ABEG® eXtreme product family, Findling Wälzlager offers high performance that is paired a longer service life and fast delivery times at a very good price/performance ratio. One of the four available series is Xclean: Deep-groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, thrust bearings, needle-roller bearings and numerous other series are suitable for use in damp, corrosive or aggressive chemical environments.

Customers benefit from high quality

Thin-section bearings are great for solving problems in applications where there is little installation space, but only if they are selected and used professionally. Findling Wälzlager GmbH has built up special expertise in this regard. This allows typical problems to be avoided from the outset, and the customer benefits from consistently high quality standards, regardless of whether they’re in the standard or premium segments.

ZKL spherical roller bearings

ZKL’s spherical roller bearings impress with their high reliability, even in heavy-duty applications, such as in the mining industry. The bearings consist of single-piece inner and outer rings as well as cage-guided barrel rollers. The inner rings are equipped with either cylindrical or tapered bores.

Xtemp high-temperature bearings

Extremely hot or particularly cold: Not a problem for the latest addition to Findling’s ABEG® eXtreme series. The Xtemp bearings, which will be available soon, are adapted to extreme operating conditions, particularly when it comes to the factors of materials, lubrication, and sealing.

Inner rings ground without twisting

The use of inner rings ground without twisting, for example in conjunction with radial shaft seals, comes with a series of advantages: Among other things, this makes it possible to prevent lubricants from leaking and increases the service life of the sealing lips. Findling now also offers these components in two performance classes. A high degree of automation during production also allows large-scale production to benefit from attractive conditions and a maximum level of efficiency as well…

hexagonal cam followers

Findling Wälzlager GmbH now offers manufacturers of conveyor systems, guide units, and cam mechanisms hexagonal cam followers with integrated grease nipples. With dynamic loads of 410 N to just under 63 kN (static: 335 N to 144kN), they represent the peak of what is currently feasible.

eXtreme series

For roller bearing applications with special requirements under extreme operating conditions, there are now products that were previously not available in this form: efficient, long-lasting, and simultaneously economical and available on short notice.

Xforce is one of the four ABEG® eXtreme series and was designed for use in heavy-duty applications.
