Housing bearings and pillow blocks
Easy-to-install and functional
The applications in which housing bearings are used are very diverse. The simple installation, the nearly maintenance-free operation, and the limited requirements for mating structures (compensation of misalignment, pre-fabricated installation holes or threads) allow for uncomplicated designs from an economic point of view.
Both a Japanese (JIS = Japanese Industrial Standard) and a European dimension series are available on the market. Only some designs are interchangeable, which is why we would be happy to advise you if you plan on switching to the Japanese standard, which is very widespread in Asia and Europe.

Excample of performance spread for pillow block bearings
Our graphic shows how wide the range of pillow blocks is: Based on a 50mm shaft, the size and load ratings vary from 29,2kN to 156kN. This is achieved due to various of materials as light steel shet, grey casting and iron casting as well as due to special bearing inserts.
