Quality assurance agreement
Securing partnerships for the long term
Quality assurance agreements govern essential duties and rights between customers and suppliers. They are often particularly useful for increasing efficiency in the settlement of business transactions. Even though quality assurance agreements only ever constitute individual arrangements, all customers benefit equally. The most demanding customer requirements serve as a reference and obligation for all customer relations.

Incoming goods inspection
Each item can be assigned a general or individual quality check code. As soon as this item is scanned in the incoming goods department, the warehouse worker is shown the accompanying inspection document. This allows any kind of inspection and documentation to be initiated. All documents are linked and available online via the batch number assigned to each goods receipt and supplier batch. This enables us to supply the corresponding inspection certificates and quality documentation with each delivery of goods.
A “skip lot procedure” ensures that items that have already been checked and deemed good multiple times are not subject to monitoring again, thus maintaining efficiency. Skipping is not included in agreements on permanent monitoring.

Complaints processing and 8D reporting
We take all quality complaints very seriously. The responsibility for this lies with the Application Technology department. In this way, we can guarantee a holistic approach to the root cause analysis and include problems with customer applications in the process from the very beginning.
We are committed to taking emergency measures and informing the customer about them right away and on the same working day. A first detailed statement is given within 24 hours.
Every step is documented and statistically evaluated. It should not take longer than 14 days to process a complaint.

Product liability and warranty
Comprehensive insurance coverage is an important confidence-building measure. Findling Wälzlager GmbH has had product liability insurance, business liability insurance and income protection insurance for decades already for this very reason.
You can ask our quality management officer or the sales department about the conditions of the liability insurance and the scope of coverage.

Auditing and qualification
Findling Wälzlager has decades of experience in supplier development for Asian and Eastern European manufacturers. Based on this knowledge, we carry out an auditing process that is tailored to the specific requirements of roller bearing production and largely characterized by the ABEG® method.
Our manufacturer audit assesses process capability under nominal conditions. Our product audit assesses the achievement of process capability goals. The difference between nominal conditions and the achievement of goals gives us crucial information for the risk assessment of our supplier relations as well as starting points for supplier development.

Customer audits
Monitoring our quality and environmental management
We have a sustainable internal auditing plan that is based on constantly changing organization requirements. This allows us to guarantee effective implementation of improvement measures.
We consider the auditing of our customers to be an important tool for continuous improvement. You are therefore always welcome to come convince yourself of the effectiveness of our quality management system and actively contribute your own suggestions for improvement.
