Xclean-deep groove ball bearings: corrosion doesn’t stand a chance

Findling has closed a market gap with its Xclean series: For the first time, this range of roller bearings unites the highest standards, such as optimum corrosion protection, the best possible hygiene standards, and resistance to aggressive chemicals, with a low price and short delivery time. Those who needed roller bearings with these characteristics used to have to settle for expensive, difficult to procure products or special, customer-specific solutions. With Xclean, Findling offers a product range with different stainless steels and coatings for this area of application.

For example, Xclean roller bearings are suitable for use outdoors, for medical applications, in the automotive industry or in machines and systems that process foods. The customer can choose the optimum combination of a base material (AISI440C, AISI316L, AISI304, AISI420 and even high-performance materials such as AISI630 or titanium), coating technology, ceramic components and grease for their specific area of application.

Cost-effective yet high-performance solutions can be achieved by coating and chemically treating standard roller bearing steels. Zinc/nickel, zinc/iron and chromating create a corrosion-reducing effect that lasts up to 720 hours in cases where preservative oils and grease would only provide limited protection against corrosion. Wear protection and dry-running properties can also be increased considerably with coatings, and the roller bearing service life values increase significantly.

The seals in Xclean series roller bearings are also optimally designed, because rough operating conditions require proper protection of the bearing interior. In addition to a long service life, low friction is also required for the best possible energy efficiency. That is why Xclean series bearings are equipped with double lip seals guided in a groove. They provide an excellent sealing effect and reliably prevent the penetration of coarse to medium-sized dirt particles.
